I am comfortable working with small businesses and startups as well as Fortune 500 companies. My years of experience in varied business settings gives me the ability to understand the unique needs of any group. I write for any audience, professional or casual. • I don't believe in adding words to a document or article just to fill the page or pad the paycheck.
• I guess some would call me a grammar snob. I understand the difference between:
  • there (There is a place that I call home.)
  • they're (They're not allowed inside.)
  • their (Their feet are dirty.)
• I don't believe in copying someone else's work and calling it my own. 
• I check the licensing of all media before including it in my work. I tend to use Creative Commons and other public domain media in articles unless the client has their own images they would like to utilize.

My writing is focused, error-free and targeted to the audience it serves.

I specialize in painstaking research, evaluating each source for strength and reliability. Understanding that the source of information is as important as the facts you gather. If possible, I attempt to find the same points listed on several different but equally reliable sources. I choose the most reliable source to cite. After careful examination, I compile all the necessary information into a cohesive and intelligent document targeted at the audience my client hopes to reach.

Writing adult & career training are two of my favorite project types.

Adult education and career training courses must be approached differently than those written for younger students. Because adults usually have little time to devote to classes, training must get to the point quickly. Information must be easy to find and allow the reader to skim the information. Types of courses I have worked with in the past include adult education (GED), career training, skills training for in-house/front-of-house use.

I am comfortable using the following software & apps: Microsoft 365, Google Drive (Docs, Sheets), Dropbox, One-Drive, CMS, Atlassian Confluence, GoToMeeting, Skype, various time tracker applications
